Teaming Leadership with Success
Patrick Ransom, President and founder of Ixion, brings a broad range of technology and operations experience to Ixion. Prior to founding Ixion, Patrick founded Domino Partners, which helped develop the first partner network for Lotus services that would become a solutions consulting network. Earlier in his career, Patrick held various positions in technology services management.
Patrick also served in the United States Air Force as an information encryption specialist and was an integral part of the first NSA approved Motorola based WAN encryption system in the Air Force. Currently, Patrick provides direction and leadership in establishing and achieving company objectives for Ixion. He is responsible for day-to-day management of company operations, corporate-customer relations, market planning, public relations, sales promotion, and facilitating staff services.

Steven Gerhardt, Ixion Vice President, is a certified IBM e-business software architect with 10 years of experience in managing internet software development. He is currently responsible for managing Ixion's business development efforts with IBM's WebSphere and Lotus software products.
Prior to Ixion, Steven served as the Manager of Lotus Solutions for VeriCenter Corporation - the leader in advanced e-business hosting services. Steven's background is highly diverse, including work in product marketing, biotechnology, ISO standards accreditation, and government. He has a Bachelors degree from Baylor University and a Biotechnology Masters degree from Johns Hopkins University.
